I'm currently working on the security topic related to hardware designs. Side channel attacks, especially the recent two famous security flaw Spectre and Meltdown, are closely related to secure hardware designs. For the side channel attack topic, I am interested in defending the state-of-the-arts attacks using less overheads but in a wider applicability.
On the other hand, I also working on a GPU power virus project, which is aiming at using automatical code generator to synthesize a code sequence to maximise the total power of a gpu architecture. It is useful in industry for any system or chip designer to test the stability of their products.
